Masak Merah, Recipe / By admin Malaysian Fajitas Sauce : Malaysian Masak Merah Serving 4 Prep 15m Cook 30m Total 44m Ingredients 700g of chicken cut into bite sized pieces 1 packet of Brahim’s Malaysian Masak Merah Sauce 1 onion, chopped 2 diced peppers (sweet or spicy depending on preference) 100g of mushrooms (chopped) ½ head of lettuce (chopped) Tortillas Sour cream (optional) Instructions Add the entire packet of Brahim’s Malaysian Masak Merah Sauce into the pan. Fill the empty sauce packet pouch about 1/4th of the way full with water from your tap and pour into the pan. Bring sauce to a roaring boil. Let cook for about 15 minutes. After the liquid has thickened a bit, add the raw chicken and cook for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan. I also added the onions and peppers to have one big fajita mix, but you may prefer to have your onions and peppers raw. Cook for 10 more minutes. Once the sauce is thick, but very slightly soupy, it’s ready to serve. Make a burrito or taco out of the mix by adding to a tortilla with cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.
