Ingredients

  • 700g of chicken cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 packet of Brahim’s Malaysian Masak Merah Sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 diced peppers (sweet or spicy depending on preference)
  • 100g of mushrooms (chopped)
  • ½ head of lettuce (chopped)
  • Tortillas
  • Sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the entire packet of Brahim’s Malaysian Masak Merah Sauce into the pan.
  • Fill the empty sauce packet pouch about 1/4th of the way full with water from your tap and pour into the pan.
  • Bring sauce to a roaring boil. Let cook for about 15 minutes.
  • After the liquid has thickened a bit, add the raw chicken and cook for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan. I also added the onions and peppers to have one big fajita mix, but you may prefer to have your onions and peppers raw. Cook for 10 more minutes.
  • Once the sauce is thick, but very slightly soupy, it’s ready to serve.
  • Make a burrito or taco out of the mix by adding to a tortilla with cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.
